Het Formule 1-seizoen van 2024 was opnieuw een bijzonder succesvol jaar voor Oracle Red Bull Racing en Max Verstappen. Met de Reb Bull RB20 begon Red Bull uiterst dominant aan het seizoen en won Verstappen direct meerdere races, waaronder de Grands Prix van Bahrein, Saoedi-Arabië, Japan en China. Ondanks dat concurrenten zoals McLaren, Ferrari en Mercedes gedurende het jaar steeds dichterbij kwamen, bleef Verstappen de maatstaf van de Formule 1.
Verstappen behaalde in totaal negen Grand Prix-overwinningen en verzamelde 437 punten. Zijn indrukwekkende seizoen werd bekroond met een vierde opeenvolgende wereldtitel, waarmee hij zich schaarde tussen de grootste namen uit de geschiedenis van de sport. Een van de hoogtepunten was zijn spectaculaire overwinning tijdens de Grand Prix van Brazilië, waar hij vanaf de zeventiende startplaats naar de winst reed.
Voor Red Bull Racing verliep het seizoen als team iets lastiger dan de voorgaande jaren. Terwijl Verstappen regelmatig voor overwinningen zorgde, had teamgenoot Sergio Pérez moeite om dezelfde prestaties neer te zetten. Hierdoor verloor Red Bull terrein in het constructeurskampioenschap en eindigde het team uiteindelijk op de derde plaats achter McLaren en Ferrari. Toch bleef de combinatie van Verstappen en de RB20 een van de sterkste van het veld.
Het seizoen 2024 bewees opnieuw waarom Max Verstappen tot de absolute top van de Formule 1 behoort. Met zijn vierde wereldtitel op rij schreef de Nederlander opnieuw geschiedenis en bevestigde hij zijn status als hét gezicht van het moderne Red Bull Racing-tijdperk.
